81. In an effort to reduce their inventories, Italian vintners have cut prices; their wines have been priced to sell, and they are.

(A) have been priced to sell, and they are

(B) are priced to sell, and they have

(D) are being priced to sell, and have

(E) had been priced to sell, and they have

选c。解释为do代sell, 意即 sell well

But if this is the case, 前面有两个动词，还是 be done to do 的结构。语法上允许这样指代吗？怎么判断do 在类似的结构里代谁，万一前面有个动词还不是被动？

不是NN,

恩,第一个问题,be done to do是被动语态,price这里是定价的意思,做动词用.前半部分就是他们的酒被减价销售了. 第二个问题,一般前面出现过的实义动词后面还有需要出现,一般用do,does,did等代替,具体情况看时态分析.

但愿我没钻牛角尖，

但与主语直接相关的动词是price 不是sell，

是不是能认为be priced to sell, (price )be cut to attract more customers, be reorganized to operate more effeciently

之类后面有这种结构，都在说那个不定式的动词？

有很多说法，我比较认同they指代Italian vintners,而且这样我觉得从逻辑上DO也就只能指代sell了

their和they指代的都是Italian vintners，翻译成中文就是他们的、他们，指代应该是一样的。

后边一半句子their wines are priced to sell, and they do.意译的话，我觉得是：

他们的酒定了销售为目的的价，他们确实做到了（他们的初衷：销售出去了
