再顶。是否有NN可以解释说明OG对E的解释。为什么them不能知道前面介词结构中的名词?
为什么OG解释：
对于A，B中出现的 “in her book illustrations，carefully coordinating。。。”解释说分词就近修饰逗号前的illustrations，修饰歧义；
但到了E中，“in her book illustrations，carefully coordinated。。。”
，OG解释说coordinated 不能就近修饰逗号前的illustrations？
状况类似，都是分词修饰，为什么一个就近修饰，一个不可以就近修饰？
请注意插入语的问题，最近看到携隐在某个帖子的回复也有提及过，所以我想或许可以这样思考：
【，...，】用一对逗号隔开的成分，考虑是否作为插入语，如果是，就只能向前修饰，但句子的其他成分不能有指代涉及其中，因为插入语是可以抽离句子，但对句子结构没有任何影响的。
例如E，如果把作为插入语的【，in...，】抽走，那么them就无指代对象，所以，OG解释说them不能指代介词in的宾语。
个人愚见，因为OG没有把一些很具体的语法分析放在它的注释里面，例如它用一个modifier就囊括了我们打小学英语就开始学的定语、状语、同位语等等，所以有时解释会比较晦涩艰深，造成我们的理解困难。
纯属愚见，期待指正。

我的想法是分词做定语，强调动作的重复性和不确定性，而定语从句则强调具体一次性，在这道题里面coordinating illustrations应该是一个个案，所以应该选用定语从句
E选项主要是因为原文coordinating只是一个伴随的关系是个从句，而选项把它改成了和capitalized并列的关系。没有忠于原文。

我的对介词短语位置的看法： in her books illustrations放在主谓之间不好，会产生介词短语做定语修饰前面的名词或者是做状语修饰谓语动词的歧义。
