their为什么不会和scientists, people, emotions发生指代不清？我们以前就是靠这种方法排除很多选项的阿？

代词指代在一些情况还是得根据逻辑意思判断好，如果结合句子意思的表达，指代对象明显，一般不会有指代歧义的问题。
语法书上没有说一句话出现两个单数名词，it指代就会有歧义。
而且代词指代的顺序是优先指代主语核心词，宾语核心词，修饰语核心词。(这个规则不是每道题都适用)
上句的从句主语核心词是people
个人观点，仅供参考
1）代词我只会在两种情况下认为一定错：a）单复数错，b）完全没有指代对象的情况; 其他的情况都不能轻易用“指代不清”排除选项
2）个选项都是 the same way as, 那就不要去管as的问题，至少这不是考点
3）in the same way as 做状语成分，就是把前后的主谓拿来比较：people register... in the same as they experiencing.... 比较是对等的，另外也印证了they的指代没有问题，前后主语一致
4）我现在在想为什么是as they experiencing... 让我想下。。。
补充：不是 the way as ... 而是 the same as ...

我看了一下，觉得指代不清真的不能够作为排除选项的标准，除非明显有歧义，但是为什么OG整天用这一招来排除？都说OG是圣经，但是他的排除方法有时候让我很Faint，比如用which就近指代排除，很多选项的解释都是这样，但是有很多SC的原题却又不就近指代，导致了ＣＤ讨论板各种各样上长久的纷争……
这道题目有个很大的特点是比较，所以比较应该平行，我觉得斑斑（3）的解释非常好
