标题: prep中的几道math，快考了，谢谢！

math刚上手，所以有点弱，只得了49。几道题请教一下，谢谢！

1、if x is positive ,which of the following could be the correct ordering of 1/x ,2x and x的平方？

（1）x的平方<2x<1/x

（2）x的平方<1/x<2x

（3）2x<x的平方<1/x

A NONE B. (1)ONLY C.(3)ONLY D.(1)AND(3)ONLY E.(1)(2)AND(3)

答案是D 为什么？

2、last mouth 15 homes were sold in town x.the average sale price of the homes was 150,000 and the median sale price was 130,000 .which of the following statements must be ture?

(1)at least one of the homes was sold for more than 165,000

(2)at least one of the homes was sold for more than 130,000 and less than 150,000

(3)at least one of the homes was sold for less than 130,000

我觉得（1）（3）都对，可是答案是只有（1）对？？？

3、the table shows the number of shares of each of the 5 stocks owned by MR.s .If Mr.s was to sell 20 shares of stock x and buy 24 shares of stock y,what would be the increase in the range of the numbers of shares of the 5 stocks owned by MR.s?

答案是15，关键是不知道问题是什么：（

第一题：我也得不出答案？觉得只有1）和2）才可能；3）应该是不可能啊？！

第二题：3）是不一定的，因为有可能从最小到中数都是130,000

第三题：题目是问域宽增加了多少，起初域宽＝112－45＝67，现在域宽＝（94+24）－（56-20）＝82，所以增加了82-67＝15

第一题，肯定只能是1和2，还有总可能是 x^2 >2x>1/x的，应该有三种可能，这道题似乎有问题！

第一题:在坐标轴上画出y=1/x,y=2x和y=x^2三条曲线后可以证明:

对于正数x,当x在区间(0,0.5)时,x^2<2x<1/x

当x在区间(0.5,1)时,x^2<1/x<2x

当x在区间(1,2)时,1/x<x^2<2x

当x在区间(2,无穷大)时,1/x<2x<x^2

所以D可能印错了,是(1)和(2)才对

第二题:15个数的平均值是15万,中间数是13万.

由此我们知道最小的7个数和最大的7个数的和是15*15-13=212.

房子最多白送,也就是最小不过0.最小的7个数又不能大于13,所以最小的7个数的和为区间[0,13*7].

于是最大的7个数的和为区间[212-13*7,212].

进一步计算可知:最小7个数的均值和最大7个数的均值分别是[0,13]和[121/7(即17.3),212/7(即30.3)]

然后看题目的结论(1)因为最大7个数的均值不会小于16.5,所以必有一个大于16.5,故该命题正确.

(2)最大7个数若都为他们的均值,则没有一个会在13~15之间,故该命题错

(3)最小7个数若都为13,则没有一个会小于13,故该命题错.

第三题:原数列的range是112-45=67,新数列{68,112,36,118,45}的range为118-36=82.

所以range增长了82-67=15

ls的答案是对的，但是there is nothing to do with 0.5 but with sqrt(2)/2
第二题这种题目，直接奔极端情况，不要分析，先看1)2)在做
第三题。。。。。。读题读题
