我觉得这里只体现有两种用法（1）as a result of（2）result from,而且都是前果后因，都正确
increase的用法也都正确，increasing我觉得是形容词，修饰sea surface

i think “food supplies are dwindling” is more correctly and effectively reflect the apprpriate part of speech.
或者我们可以说: suffer from the shortage of the food
IMO逻辑表达区别确实存在，但如果因此说A有逻辑错误，似乎有点牵强。

答案对A的resulting from是这么解释的：

但是两个resulting from的位置不同。。
另外，好像OG里面很少用increasing这种说法，表上升会说rising, soaring，是不是GMAT不是很prefer increasing的缘故。。
我的理解：
A: from + doing不够准确表达句子意思；from dwindling food supplies存在岐义的可能，有可能from加动名词dwindling或from supplies；同理increasing sea surface temperatures的increasing这里应表示的是过程，实际要求表现的是结果（个人对此排除依据有保留）；resulting位于句末即有作结果状语的可能，逻辑意思有误。
B: correct，使用条件从句完整的主谓结构保证避免修饰岐义，将increasing改为名词increase避免出现做动名词或形容词修饰，将resulting改为as a result避免分词短语的功能混乱。
C: because of + 名词，没有准确表达句子意思
D: revealed一种动物，而不是revealed一种状况，改变了句意
E: which不能用来表示结果状语
请问本题后半句是跟着because句的，还是和suffering并列的？
