3. You have been selected as a member of the Kellogg Admissions Committee. Please provide a brief evaluative assessment of your file

是不是要从Admissions Committee的角度评价自己?此ESSAY的目的是什么?谢谢

This is a tricky topic, because it not only asks for your self-critique but also is subtly asking whether you understand what Kellogg is looking for.

One approach is to use a couple of paragraphs to hit the basics: your academic abilities, career successes (track career progress, promotion, raises, a few key leadership roles), and goals. The remainder of the essay you can use to argue why you fit at Kellogg, focusing on three key points: get involved, bring innovation, and have the right attitude (not a cocky prick).

not really. I do agree with what chipmunk said, you can tell your strong points with the catagories of academic ability, w/e, your fit and most importantly i think, your contribution. you may rephrase your contribution, but it is definitely necessary to mention it in this question i think.

i am applying to kellogg too. good luck to all of us!

我觉得KELLOGG的这个题目挺高明的，也比较友好。他给了你全面评价你自己的机会，尤其是你的优点。Admissions Committee的视角，不一定能全部明了你的优势，你可以在这里总结。按照chipmunk提到的几个方面（基本上也就是商学院要求的素质）。但最好要有事例证明，不要空洞地夸自己。
我个人感觉KELLOGG的题目能让你较容易地把想展现的优势全发挥出来，而不像有的学校，你必须非常费心思地安排好你想展示的方面。还不一定能完全包括你在别的学校曾提到的优点。

写完KELLOGG的ESSAY后，我真的觉得KELLOGG把MARKETING方面的优势发挥在了每一个细微之处。
