Why the MS&E program is 2 years? My friends went to this program and the graduated in 1 year.
What's your goal after your studies? Several of my friends graduated from this program and didn't get very good placement. (maybe they aimed high)
Could you please give me information about the placement of your friends graduating from the MS&E program? such as which industry did they get into(which company and the job title and yearly income, if possible)?

This program needs GRE score, not GMAT score. You may first understand this point.

I am now trying to weight this program against some others and I think the information of the former graduates in their placement and income will be really helpful.

i am asking other friends to help me find some more info. As my other offers are not very strong, i will take this one, but I have not decide which concentration i will focus on. Whatever, standford, the name is very attractive due to my background.

As far as I know, top VC prefer students from Stanford, master or MBA. A MBA in a tier 2/3 universities are generally not as well recognized as a stanford graduate. One of my partner in Silicon Valley said he knows all Chinese students in Stanford because Stanford is one of the key universities (together with Harvard, MIT) for our future business.
