标题: 一道语法题
(The capital of) the united stateds, (orginally) new york city , (was moved to) the Philadelphia (where stayed) until 1800.

D明显错了,但是orginally没有错吗?

插入语orIginally （WAS）new york city，省略了WAS，同句子的谓语相同BE动词。

orIginally 是修饰 WAS的，如果变成了形容词orIginal 修饰new york city说不通的。

答案上选的是 A
请问all 和 all of 有什么区别？
本题中all of是副词，“至少”。在这里是修饰动词learn的，“至少学五中基本姿势”。如果大家理解为“所有的”，那也应当是“all of the”或“all the”。

记的CD,好象讨论过这个题.但是找不到了,贴在这里好了.

答案肯定错了，应该是C，同MOST的用法一样。

不定代词+(OF +限定词)+名词

OF后一定要有限定词！！这是托福语法中的重要考点BOTH, ALL可以直接接限定词THE也可以直接跟名词！

又有两题不是很明白的

答案是A,为什么B不对呢,A在句子中做何成份.

2.In the united states, a primary election is a method () voters select the nominees for public  office.
a,that
b, is that
c, by which
d,by those
答案是C,为什么A不对呢

我认为它的讲解不对，ALL OF 即使是副词修饰LEARN，其位置也不对，这种解释太牵强了。

1、theories approximate the truth 本身已经是完整的句子了，approximate 这里是动词，所以要求补出的是主语从句部分的内容，B补出的to determine补语放入句子里是混乱的，而A构成了主语从句。

2、这题从语法上A和C都没有问题，但是从句子意思上看，C要符合意思。THAT在这里只能充当同位语从句的连接词，因为你找不到THAT在句子中的意思和成分。而BY WHICH是通过。。。在定语从句中做状语。

我来现下丑.

1). Determining how closely theories approximate the truth 是主语, 其中How引到的从句做Determining的宾语. 整个意思是判断理论与实际的相符程度. closely是修饰approximate. B根本解释不同.

2) 把从句单独拿出来看, A是等于 method voters select the nominees for public office. 解释不通. 如果说that仅起连接作用, method与后面的内容不能成为同位语.
