Here is my background:

MS in I/O Psychology

MS GPA: 3.9 GMAT: 700+/5.5

Research experience: 2 conference paper (1st author), 1 thesis, & 1 book

Working experience: 2.5 year HR experience in a multinational company, 0.5 year in consulting

Interview: yes

The main reason why I was admitted is that my research focus and interests highly match many professors. My working experience is also a plus when I discussed my research with committee members.
