标题: Emory or MSU？谢谢

本人is专业，跟版上大牛没法比，目前只有两个一般的offer:

1. Emory University: 综合排名高，老师研究方向很diversity,钱多，但是问题program很年轻，担心placement

2. MSU: 综合排名40多，老师年纪都很大，只有一两个老师比较感兴趣，钱少，更新的program，都没有毕业生呢。

suny buffalo早已锯掉了。现在自己倾向于1。大家说呢？在北美的牛牛们，你们比较了解，谁来说说情况。谢谢啦！！

虽然不懂is专业，我觉得这个选择应该简单，go with Emory

年轻的program有自己的好处，可以多招年富力强的faculty，没有历史负担，把学生当回事等等；

那个综合排名实际上对phd没什么用。

我投emory 的票！个人觉得ＥＭＯＲＹ　和ＭＳＵ差不多，看钱和教授的方向！

I think you should go to Emory. It is much better than Suny Buffalo and MSU in IS. For the good of other applicants, you could decline the interview invitation from MSU.

Emory is up-and-coming! 我的美国教授都觉得Emory is an excellent school.

所以换了我是lz，我也选择Emory！

我不牛的。看到别人拿到minnesota,maryland，我羡慕死了。不过自己没那么牛，也不期望能进牛校。能有2个offer让我挑，我已经乐死了。等申请结束之后，会写一个总结，给不牛的后来人一点经验之谈，申请真的是一件痛苦的事情，我已经学会能屈能伸，荣辱不惊了。

马上会decline suny buffalo，攒rp，为后人造福。
