$18000 per year. Tuition fee reducted to $25 per semester.
Congratulation
IMHO, if you like behavioral research, UBC is your best bet. If you are comiitted enough, doing well in the master program should not be an issue. In addition, you get to see if you really like IS research.
BTW, do you have to pay for the cost of the master's program?
Many thanks to all of you, especially jingbeiboy for your suggestions. Actually, the MIS at UBC has not told me whether I have to pay for the cost. I am asking for more details!
If your research interest really lies in behavioral research, UBC should be your first choice. Benbasat is there. If you really want to study in US, you can apply again one year later. The experience in UBC will definitely strengthen your background and make u more competitive.
On the other hand, research interest may change. If you decide to attend US universities now, I think Purdue is better than Gatech.
Don't regret no matter which school you choose.
FYI.
Thanks for all of your opinions!!!
Since I am already a 2-year master student, I think reapplying to US after another two years in UBC will be a waste of time for me. But interests are really what I am seriously considering before making the decision.
To papawaigo:
Why do you think Purdue is better than Gatech?
Based on your information, the IS group of Gatech is too small. I think a big group composed of faculty with diversified interests is beneficial for our academic growth.
I have made a decision. Thanks!
Con!!!
Bless!
