答案是D，为什么呢？不清楚考点在哪里。

A中its 1833 founding 不对,应该要把1833放在后面,改为in 1833,for doing 不对,表示目的

B同上

Cfor its decision不对,表目的

Eby 的使用逻辑有错误,另外on the accepance of 没有动词accept简洁
