本来对定语从句、分词短语究竟修饰哪个词就很困惑，总结的时候发现OG11对分词修饰的词的解释都矛盾：

原句正确，尽管我也觉得B选项不正确，但OG的解释中认为having 直接修饰pollutants，让我对98题OG的解释更加不理解。。。
请NN帮忙解释一下到底这个分词结构是怎么修饰前面的词的？到底修饰的是哪个词啊？
我觉得不能迷信OG.
因为having,修饰复数,

这里having不可能修饰一个单数a technique
而第1句中,2个都是复数,不能区分
我想 OG11 对于 －ing分词，有3个功能
1 是修饰句子主语 2是作定语修饰“immediately"先行词 3 是作状语，修饰整个句子
98 E 语法上存在1、2得修饰疑问（逻辑也是可能得）所以有 having is ambiguous because it is unclear whether it refers to the Anasazi or other clans 一说 （个人认为比较勉强，因为-ing前没有逗号)
105 那个-ing也是存在作定语修饰immediately先行词还是修饰主语得疑问 （这是OG11典型错误）
