正确答案是A,但是很迷惑其中的解释中有这样一点,convinced后面不应该使用虚拟语气,为什么呢?

请知道的人提点一下

在使用虚泥语气的动宾从句里,主句都是主动语态.

B，插入语不能放到convinced 与that之间，convinced后面不应使用虚拟语气（why？）

C，convinced后面缺少that引导从句，没有正确使用prefer .. to，convinced后面不应使用虚拟语气（why？）

D，fact that表达不简洁，没有正确使用prefer .. to，convinced后面不应使用虚拟语气（why？）

E，fact that表达不简洁，没有正确使用prefer .. to，convinced后面不应使用虚拟语气（why？），are growing与前面number主谓不一致

我的看法是這樣,這題的重點在考時態
從題目意思判斷,
        airline executives確信許多旅行者還是會到旅行社購買機票.購買機票是尚未發生的動作,所以that子句裡面應該用未來式,而不是用已經發生的過去式.

我的问题是prefer的用法  是不是只能prefer ...to  题目其他选项的 加上compare的不可以？

我觉得这道题 despite the fact that 其实是更合适表达更准确的说法，只是后面prefer。。。compared to 更不能接受，所以A才更合适

the fact that是相对错误，不止08，prep07上也有写。试想the fact that表达了什么实意内容？你说话时会讲：“XXXXXXX我说的是事实”吗？的确是wordy，这点绝对没错·

我觉得不是这样的，the fact that也在正确句子中出现过，并且好像还是两个the fact that并列结构。
这个搭配到底是不是wordy我觉得要看具体情况，这里的主语及其修饰语太长，用the fact这种类似于形式主语的结构代替反而可以使句子的结构更清晰，所以我个人也认为这里用the fact that更好
