要是今年不能直接PhD走，搞Finance的Master走读一年后再申行不行呢？

行啊，个人感觉主要取决于你这一年内是否能搞定很好的推荐信，或者写出点文章来，如果其他方面都没有什么变化，光靠有一年master的经历的话，可能不会特别有效，个人意见，仅供参考

这种职业培养master很难游科研的机会的.....

好处我觉得体现在三个方面：

1。老美对自己美国学校的教育质量是认同的，你如果能拿高GPA，对于你申请PhD有利

2。同样的道理，美国教授帮你写的推荐信，如果言辞饱含激情，强烈推荐，作用是相当相当大的

3。你自己通过学习可以明确到底喜欢不喜欢接着做研究

I talked with a finance phd student at Vanderbilt this year. He told me that a master in Economics would contribute more to the application of PhD in finance. You could expect more rigorous training in the economics program while the MSF program is more career-oriented...
