As its sales of computer products have surpassed those of measuring instruments, the company has become increasingly willing to compete for the mass market sales they would in the past have conceded to rivals.

答案E。我想知道划线部分在句中是什么成分？难道是定语从句修饰the mass market sales ？如果是，那concede的用法是什么呢？难道是concede X to Y 这种形式？X就是这里的the mass market sales 是这样吗？

划线部分是定语从句，省略which在句中做宾语

for the mass market sales （which）they would in the past have conceded to rivals

concede to (sb.) 对(某人)让步

eg. The defeated nation conceded some of their hand to the enemy.
