标题: 第三篇 coopers 采访实录

我想看了我以上的背景，可能谁也不会想到，在我
所有申请的学校中，我只是被保底的学校Olin 录取了。这也是我当初绝对没有想到的一个结果，

好像后面没有解释这里埋下的伏笔，能不能略微谈谈为什么出现这种情形呢？背景这么强，相信多数人都达不到coopers的条件呢。。。

One more thought: he didn't pay enough attention when picking up schools. The schools dinged him are not favor older applicants.

从访谈的记录来看，coopers对essay还是下了一番功夫的。一般人很难有他如此优越的写essay的条件。
还有什么办法把essay写得更好吗？
我觉得我写的很努力，但结果还是差强人意。

Can you tell me some B-Schools that are favourable for older applicant?

His English writing skill might be very strong, but since he didn't do enough research on those schools, his strength didn't use on the target.

Another reason I guess was: after working in big 4 as a manager, he had couple of short period stay in some industry companies, which made his career progress unclear. Thus adcom might doubt whether he was sure about his career goal or not.

sdyx, coopers brother is in Olin right now, which is definitely a school favor old students. Others I could think of now include Wharton, Kellogg, Michigan and Duke.

Darden is used to be in the same league in my mind, but now I heard two people complained it switched its gear to favor young guns now. However, I could be wrong since it was relatively a small sample.
