continue后面是不是不能加on?

D选项的问题有哪些？

continue doing sth是习惯用法吧,好像没有见过continue on doing的,而且并列成分改变了句子的意思.

一个tip: GMAT中有伴随状语出现的选项基本上就是正确选项,如同这题选E一样
