为什么答案是 d呢?甚是不懂,请指教

选D的话information 作为同位语解释whether引导的丛句。

偶也选错了

其他的选项中，information部分都被拉到whether里面去了，意思不通顺

不知道你不理解主要在哪里？

整体句型是：be required to do... and that (should) do....

and 连接一个不定式和一个从句做动词require的宾语

1）required to do

2）require that (should) + 动词原形

我觉得放个 that在这边没有道理啊。。。

发表一下我的看法，分析一下备选答案：

A，错误：require后面并列了to do和that clause；

B，错误：同A；

C，错误：that was（多余）earned by their employees with the information being（多于） published 『句子结构混乱』；

D，正确：earned by their employees（adj修饰前面的benefit） ,information that must also be published (information概括前面的内容whether they have the necessary reserves to pay the pension benefits earned by their employees，语法结构：概括性同位语。这种例子比比皆是，是GMAT最喜欢用的结构之一)；

E，错误：earned by their employees and published the information （published时态错误）。

注：概括性同位语结构：用一个概括性的名词去概括前面的解释对象。
