我申请了俄勒冈的博士，收到了学校的总招生处回复说‘你的材料已经从商学院传到我们这里，这封信不是录取通知，只是通知你我们收到了材料。同时你可以关心一下学校的住房选择问题（附件是住房信息）’

这是什么意思呢？

usually they have limited supply of on-campus housing to incoming students and the spots will be snatched up way before school starts in the fall. so they encourage potential students to explore the housing options as early as possible. it's for your own interest.
it's not an offer, or an indication of the possibility of making an offer. relax and wait for the good news from business school.

多谢！不知道一般学校是不是都是这样的。我纳闷因为没有收到录取却让我看房子和填写房屋申请表格。
