我不太理解B和 E的区别

ETS 对 E的解释: Choice E suggests that the construction of the buildings, rather than the earthquake, occurred last year, thus making the sequence of events unclear.

如果把(B)that从句拿掉不看,会变成:

some buildings had been constructed in the violation of the city's building code.

同样的把(E)that从句拿掉不看,会变成:

last year some of the buildings had been constructed in the violation of the city's building code.

(E)last year 修饰some of the buildings不是earthquake

我不是太明白LSMM的意思,last year是一个时间状语,状语怎么会修饰名词呢??

形容词才修饰名词啊??!!

还是不懂!!请指教,这个题目我做了三次我第一次就B,也一直知道E不对,但就是不明白OG以及白勇的解释.

对不起没表达清楚

(E)last year some of the buildings had been constructed in the violation of the city's building code.

想说的意思是last year 是修饰整个建筑的建造

last yaer 是时间状语不是用来修饰buildings这个名词

last year是用来修饰had been constructed

意思就是建筑物去年被建造

个人一点的想法请多指教
