Two weeks ago,the professor told me they will make the decision in the next two weeks.But still no news for me

I haven't heard any news in your field about Columbia. Just wait for a few more days....

不知道是不是我多心了，不過我的status是這樣寫的：

Application Status: Complete PhD application

Status Description
Your PhD application is complete and is being reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Decisions will begin to go out in mid March.
一般offer是3月初就知道的吧。上面的status說三月中，我才能知道結果。也就是說，一般3月中才知道結果的人，一般都是被拒的。這是不是意味着我連初審都沒過，然後直接等着3月中收rejection letter呢？

I find myself not care about that too much right now.

I have five mid-term exams to take in the following two weeks.

I don't think I've enough time to think about all those things.

If something's ought to be mine, it'll be there sooner or later.

Yes, I'm currently studying in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research in Columbia University.

I've thought about all these things thoroughly recently, and the possibly worst result for me is to find a job, which is not the worst thing in the world:-).

Anyway, wish you all good luck.

All Hard work will definitely be paid off.

I am working as an intern now.And I realized I actually do want to have a PhD after I have been struggling very hard for a year about whether I want to have a PhD and finally quit it.

I guess this is just the common status to all applicants before there is a decision.
