答案C。不过总觉得里面的being 太扎眼(受LZM的毒太深，看见being 就想排除)，其实该句being 去掉后句子也很完整。干嘛要它呢？为了强调正在进行？

同意BraveMBA，合理的被动语态进行时啊，说明“正越来越被军方视为对安全的威胁“，可能大家真的是被lzm误导太多了。这题其实是时态的需要，不同于那些there being或是..(phrase), being...之类的表达

'increasingly' doesn't make it continuous. i think we need to eliminate teh other choices:
1, A and B r not logical
2, D 'the most elusive of submarines' is wrong
3, E, there should have a comma or 'and' before therefore
4, continuous is, of course, better. however it's not necessarily the testing point here.

because在这里引导原因状语从句，而这个原因状语从句是一个并列复合句，这个并列复合句是由两个简单句用连词and连接而成。具体说就是Because the enemy’s new ship is the quietest and because it is therefore the most elusive submarine,....。therefore在这里做副词，表示后面这个原因是从第一个原因得来的。

therefore在longman里的解释：
as a result of something that has just been mentioned

这句句子的中文意思就是“因为敌人的新潜水艇是最静音的，进而是最难以捉摸的潜水艇，它越来越被军方看作是最大的安全威胁。”两个原因中的第二个其实是第一个进一步导致的。

不知道这么解释清楚不，我怎么感觉好罗嗦啊。

"being" here shows the view is still in progress. Let's take an example:

computer owner: Hey man! Where is my computer?
Engineer: It is being fixed by Tom.  (1)  means Tom is still fixing it.
Engineer: It is       fixed by Tom.  (2)  means Tom already fixed it.

So ans. C:
it is being increasingly viewed by the military as a threat to security.  (1) still viewing
it is       increasingly viewed by the military as a threat to security. (2) already viewed

大全170也是 because ……， and therefore结构啊？如果a 改为and therefore the investigators were unable to determine the extent of possible, 是不是也对呢？

不对。Because the financial review ... years, 是个原因状语从句，有了and之后，后面的句子变成了这个从句的一部分，从而使主句缺失，所以不对。

我觉着如果没有and, 整个句意就变了, distort the intended meaning of this sentence.

答案A很好的, 只是还有更好的C.我看见A的时候就想它挺不错, 就是it is 太wordy.

To Snazzy: D 'the most elusive of submarines' is wrong

我觉着'the most elusive of submarines' 是正确的.

(B) it is therefore the most elusive of submarines, and it has increased the view( the ship itself is the view,not the ship has increased the view,PAY ATTENTION TO THE SUBJECT LOGIC,WHAT'S MORE,BEFORE THE FIRST IT,THERE SHOULD BE ,)
(C) and therefore the most elusive submarine, it is being increasingly viewed
(D) and therefore it is the most elusive of submarines, there is an increasing viewthere(IN THIS SENTENSE,WE NEED A 主句TO BE PARALLEL WITH THE BECAUSE CLAUSE,SO THERE IS .......IS AN INDEPENENT SENTENSE AND THERE IS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BECAUSE CLAUSE,Because the enemy’s new ship is the quietest and therefore the most elusive submarine ---- A CAUSE -EFFECT RELATION ACT AS THE REASON IN THE WHOLE SENTENSE

(A) 中and是连接词，前后是两套主谓结构，所以and前要加逗号；但是（C) 中and连接两个表语，（therefore是副词，不要求跟主谓结构），所以不用加逗号
