标题: Campus Visit UPittsburgh
After a phone interview today, the professor invited me to visit the
campus. He told me that he wish me to come before the admission
committee can make a decision. I am going to participate in a seminar
and talk to professors. So can you guys give me suggestions on how
should I prepare for it? Thank you so much!

My background: US regular school undergraduate gpa:3.6, econ master gpa: 3.9, gmat:760 major: Finance

I have been reading the professors' papers in the area that I would like do future research, is that enough? should I prepare some questions regarding those papers?

楼主放心你肯定被录取了 campus visit不能代表你一定被录取，但是邀请你参加seminar并和教授交流是绝对代表你被录取的

我也是这么觉得的.背景很强的说.估计方向也特别match.

Thank you for your kind words, but I kinda doubt it. You see he actually gave me two dates to choose when he invited me to the campus visit, one is in this week and one is next week. After I chose the second date, he told me that it would be better if I can go on the first date because that is before the admission
committee can make a decision. Also the seminar is going to be given by a new faculty candidate...So is it more like a second interview? How would you suggest me to prepare for it? Thank you!
