I took toefl in HK as well, my feeling is the same as yours. The computer based test listening is much more hard than written test. When I am doing the written preparation, normally I got only 2 errors, but I got 26 in CBT only.
For anyone that plan to take CBT, I would recommend you to think it over. You have to face the disavantage in listening and structure. So the overall score may be 10-20 lower than the written ones. (unless you can got 6.0 in TWE and okay with listenning)
