由于sustain和exhausting这两个动作的行使者不是同一个主体，因此不能这样表述。
俺觉得
fund intended to sustain the state's economy after exhausting its oil reserves
这个exhausting的主语是Alaska，所以应该可以after+doing,感觉貌似错的是its oil reserves,看前面Alaska regularly deposits some of its profits from the sale of oil a special，有个its profits from ...这个its profits和后面的its oil reserves的its是完全不一样，感觉这个its应该指的是sale profit?...其他同学帮忙分析下。同困惑。。。
白勇的语法说，介词后面跟分词，那么分词的主语应该和主句的主语一致，就是说是Alaska， 我不觉得有什么不对的地方啊。还有那个it 啊，两个都可以指Alaska 吧。也不觉得有什么不对啊，还请指教啊。我觉得是这样，在这题中after是引导的时间状语从句，所以应该是完整的主谓结构，而非分词短语
其次讲到石油，隐含着被动的关系，应该是石油被消耗，而非其本身自己消耗尽，所以应该用V过去分词表示被动，
所以是C不是D
after 做介词的时候后面可以跟 doing / 名词 。
做连词的时候后面跟主谓（句子）
还有9楼的说被动，可是D是主动啊，主动不是优于被动吗？
