249. Although the manager agreed to a more flexible work schedule, he said that it must be posted on the bulletin board so that both management and labor will know what everyone is assigned to do.

我认为选D。

A 宾语从句谓语与主句相同时态应该是was 而且it指代有问题
B 同上
C they无指代对象
E althogh用于连接让步从句 E不是一个句子

it也可以指代人的所以这里不知道是指代schedule还是he 另外我说的时态问题是后面的is 应该是was

我也是选的D,但是好像答案给的是A,
如果A是绝对答案，那么就应该是D中have to的原因，XDF老师讲have to是口头语

我有了新看法，对于d， so that前面是原因，后面是结果，所以时态上应有所区分。

I notice that "have to" always follows "people" instead of "thing": for example, I have to/Jenny has to... while it must be....Could it be the reason?

I chose A.
At first, 'it' definitely refers to 'schedule' because 'he' refers to 'the manager'. it's impossible to use two pronouns to refer to two things in one question.
Second, it's not necessary to use 'would have to' at all. And 'must do' is more simple than 'would have to'.
The above two reasons can exclude answer D
"what everyone is assigned' can be regarded as a fact. I think it's better than 'was' because probably those employees won't start their work until both the manager and labor know the schedule. 'was assigned' implies a fact that maybe everyone has done what they were assigned.

i also vaguely remember from one of the grammar books that the difference between the two is:

must -- is more objective, emphasizing a person's belief/opinion/will
have to -- has the implicit meaning that 'no matter you like it or not, you've got to do it'. more subjective.

that explains why 'it must be posted' is used. since the 1st part says 'althought...', implying the 'manager's unwillingness to accept 'the change of schedule'. thus, the idea that the schedule must be posted is more of the manager's personal opinion (as a means of retaliation).

从句用了"although", 主句一定要有转折的意思. 其实主句强调该建议实施的困难, 虚拟语气就很能体现"如果要实施的话, 则...., 总而言之还是不实施的好

如果没有虚拟语气的话, must 好过 have to. 但是用了虚拟语气就要用 have to 了.
我猜想, 不知道有谁可以确认一下.

c, d 中would have 有问题, b中时态不一致而且不必用被动

我选A，划线部分前面出现了manager和schedule，根据逻辑能够很确定指代schedule。而且CMAT要求题干中有情态动词must，那么选项中必须要有该情态动词或类是语气，A中有，而D中，且would have to语气太弱。

前面讨论好像大家都忽略了一点：have to 和must两词都是'必须'的意思，have to 表示客观的需要， must 表示说话人主观上的看法，既主观上的必要。
本题是manager主观上的必要，所以用must。而且have to要根据人称、时态而变化，must不需要变化。
