D中when placed 是省略主语，那么逻辑主语就该是主句的主语production 了，所以不对。
但是后面的they没有指代对象，因为不能指代canaries。不知道这么理解对不对？？？
但是E中的that修饰什么？mice？that可以修饰介词短语中的名词吗？不懂：（
