这道题目做是做对了，但是因为做的次数太多，记得答案了，但是不知道如何分析出这

14，此句里，shorten 的使用比用lessen准确(shorten 缩短；lessen 减少)，故排除D。
C中that of 多余，没有词和that 对应(依句意，that 并不能和minimum 对应)。

17，as anyone has ever come 是否有点中文里”前无古人“的味道？B,C除了时态不对，ever 的位置也不妥。

17题，为什么用Has，而不用Had？因为前面Became和Came不都是过去式吗？

我觉得错误选项最大的问题是ever的位置不对

至于had还是has，可能题目有说强调一种影响一直影响现在的感觉。
