Neanderthals had a vocal tract that resembled those of the apes and so were probably without language, a shortcoming that may explain why they were supplanted by out own species

B) Neanderthals had a vocal tract resembling an ape's

对其他的错误答案没有什么怀疑~~但是这里的B答案Neanderthals是复数的，为什么后面跟a vocal tract而且还和各单数比较

Neanderthal也不是单复数一致的名词阿~~

有人知道为什么么？？？？？

说不出具体理论来，不过我感觉在这种客观的泛指的时候用a noun和 nouns是一样的，后面的谓语动词跟着变变就好了，至于用哪个倒是无所谓。后面也和an ape's 对应了啊。

而且感觉这种句型就该把复数放句首，单数放后面啊，呵呵。

那不就说明Neanderthals单复数同型了么？可没什么依据阿

不奇怪啊，就是用have a嘛。比如：Most people have a bad habbit:eating too much.这个看起来很顺眼了吧？
