排除A选项，选E。

书上解释：states where they had visited, visited 是及物动词，必须有动作对象，states是visited的动作对象，应该用关系代词that/which代替关系副词where；？？

我觉得这个排除的原因是不是应该是时态对称的话应该用一般过去时呢~~

visited 是及物动词后面必须跟宾语

where 是关系副词，不能做visited 的宾语，所以错！
