答案:C,为何D不对呢?在C中,would have 是含蓄虚拟,D用would find 也可以啊???

另外,在OG中有两个虚拟的句子.

第一题中， WOULD HAVE FOUND清楚的表达了：如果AFFORD HOUSHOLD APPLICATIONS 发生在their grandparents那时候，那爷爷奶奶们会有的反应。而WOULD FIND的时态与这个意思时间性不合
第二题主要是与前面的语态保持平行，后一题也是一种语气的表达

would have done与would do如果放在虚拟语态中，则一个用于对过去虚拟的主句中，一个用与对现在与将来虚拟的主句中。

如何判断是对过去的虚拟还是对将来的虚拟？？？？

在OG215，主句是用过去时，可是虚拟用的是would do .可是，在OG152中，主句是过去时，虚拟用的是would have done .

这是怎么回事????

even if表达的是让步，意思是“即使能付得起。。。”，正确地表达了其实不是每个人都能付得起（好比说象我这么穷的美国人）

although表达的是转折。意思是“尽管能付得起。。。”，言外之意是每个人都能付得起，这个好象不对吧？

举双手赞同brunhild关于would have done与would do的区别。
注意joywzy所说的后两个句子都是would do结构。
我想判断的标准无非就是逻辑意思。

885-3-10，主句用的是一般现在时，可虚拟用的是would have done,OG的两个句子，主句用的是一般过去时，可虚拟用的是would do。

你讲的逻辑意思是具体指什么啊？谢谢。

答案c中their grandparents would have found miraculous之前是否应该加that，不然没有连词连接even if后面的2个句子阿？

这里应该是Find sth adj. -- Find appliances miraculous

even if they can afford household appliances (that=appliances) their grandparents would have found (appliances) miraculous

因为这里的That做宾语, 所以省略. Appliances如果发生在他们Grandparents时候,会是奇迹的, 那么表示的是过去的虚拟, 所以用would have

高手啊,brunhild讲的好, GEMJ讲解的更是有一剑飞仙的感觉....不过有点高度抽象了........试着解释一下,大家看我的理解有没有问题:

一般虚拟语气呢,遵循这样一个模式:

---------------------------------------------------------

1.表示和现在情况相反

从句+ 过去式/情动过去式+动词原型/were虚拟, 主句+ 情动过去时(比如would,could等)+动原

2. 表示和过去真实情况相反

从句+过完成, 主句+情动过去时(would,could等)+现在完成时
----------------------------------------------------------

依照这个标准呢,我们可以发现C选项有问题,因为无论would+动原,还是would+过去完成时,前面都不应该用can,起码要用could....但是再仔细看看呢,这里这个would find或者would have found都不是在主句里面的,不是上面说得2种主从条件句里面的,而是在一个定语从句里的(that省略),所以呢,前面can不需要变形用过去时(本来就不是主从条件句)----------也就是GEMJ说得,这里时态不是和主句比.(也就是不用尊守上面2个标准).只是借用would have表达和过去的情况相反这种意思而已.

不知道我对GEMJ的理解对不对.请执教
