答案B

我的问题是 but it allows 的 it 指代的是不是有歧义？可以指budget, 也可以指demand.

如果指budget的话成了 The budget (money) allows them to spend the money...很怪

我有相同问题，B选项中的it 和them都指代什么，会不会产生歧义，还请nn再点拨点拨。

it指代budget，没有歧义，因为无法指代所有格上的名词。them指代唯一的复数名词school districts。

allow有下面这个用法，使得这个题目中的表达不怪。

allow: verb. if one thing allows another thing to happen, the first thing creates opportunity for the second thing to happen.

The compromise will allow him to continue his free market reforms.

这里不能指代ahminitreation，但是demand还是可以指代的。

这里的确有点小小的歧义的嫌疑，不过这里的but是作为连词，连接一个大平行的，所以是跟前面整个句子平行，it优先指代前面句子中的主语budget。

当然，优先不能完全排除歧义。

但是sc，都是在挑选一个最优的答案。这里其他四个选项的错误都很明显。相比之下，这里的it歧义还是可以忍受的。

似乎明白些了，不过指代歧义的问题一直搞不清楚，都是通过找其他错误来排除的

b选项but后面把it省略掉说不定更好. 这样一来,肯定是指the budget allows...了...

现在做题不是要仅仅把题目做对，而是要研究各个选项，出题者的出题意图，等等。。。。：）

这题大家都知道省略should的动词原形就能做出答案了；）

这里很明显it不可能指代demand,要不然逻辑意思就怪了

我一开始还奇怪but的转折是啥意思，后来就明白了，是budget会reflect钱的归属这么个需求，但是，只允许把钱花到某些指定的地方。but的作用就是budget同意一部分东西，但是又做了一些限定要求的意思。如果这里it指代demand,逻辑就错大了。
