我想问的是，究竟是ETS认为“regardless of这一结构在GMAT语法中是错的”还是“ETS认为在该短语后接名词性从句是错，但若接名词就对了”？？？
但朗文认为regardless of = irrespective of, 且有如下例句：All children should have access to the latest technology, irrespective of where they live or how much their parents earn.

这个“that”是不是可能修饰它前面的“skill”，而不修饰“jobs”，可是按照题目应该修饰“jobs”，是不是“that”可以跳跃修饰呢？在og152里找到又一个that不紧接修饰对象的例子，请nn解释一下“that”引导定从修饰对象的情况吧：）

to alicely:jobs of comparable skill ，这里job是核心词，comparable skill 是修饰job的，所以说这个短语的意思是“有相应技能的工作”，类似的用of连接的两个词，一般都是of前是核心词，of后面的修饰of前面的词
关于第二个that的修饰问题，that引导定从的时候可以跳跃修饰，特别是本题that后面是are，所以在这里that只可能是修饰jobs，不可能是skill，没有歧义的。
看了半天，还是没明白require of到底能不能用。我总结一下：

这两种形式应该是都对的，大家都没有什么异议。

我也同意楼上的意见，require最常见就是以上三种用法。OG181题ETS完全没有提到是否require of sb to do sth是一种固定用法！另外，我感觉required of firms to survive在og 181中的意思不太一样~原句是:
Because of the enormous research and development expenditures required of firms to survive in the electronics industry, an industry marked by rapid innovation and ....., such firms tend to be very large.
这里的加粗部分我觉得应该理解为大量的调查研究费用是公司们生存的必要条件。在这里required of 的功能更接近于the requirement of 不过更为简洁。所以我觉得和其他的三种require的用法不一样！

对于181题，尽管用的是require of sb to do sth，但是这里的to do在句子里所表示的意思和所做的成分与require sb to do sth中的to do 是不一样的。
OG10-181中的to do是与require分开的，也就是说require of firms作的后置定语，而其后的to do表示目的，并不是require of sb to do sth的结构所致
而require sb to do sth不是表示目的，是表示一种宾语补足语的关系。
所以require仍旧是有三种用法！没有require of sb to do sth的用法
