In my opinion, D is the best. making X much easier and causing Y to spread more quickly.

if "flames和ignition并列", the sentence should be read as:

A fire in an enclosed space burns with the aid of reflected radiation that preheats the fuel, making ignition much easier and (making) flames
spread more quickly.

make 作 to compel解释的时候，形式应当是make sb/sth do

那　ｉｇｎｉｔｉｏｎ和　ｆｌａｍｅ　ｓｐｒｅａｄ　还是不平行啊。　一个是名词，一个是动词短语。
