employ 和use 这里做用不一样，修饰的东西不一样所以就不算重复

这题考的是修饰吧

觉得c好一些，e的that指代实在是有问题，而且c读起来好像更通畅些，used是修饰techniques的，去掉修饰成分，句子变成Employing the same techniques , researcher have been able to increase the amount of protein in potatoes, sweet potatoes, and tobacco. 很通畅。但是e中的for的意思应该是in order to have, do, get, or obtain something，参考longman，感觉更象是修饰employing的，但是只是感觉，介词一直是我头疼的问题：（

In e), the clause "that make them" modifies the immediate predeced noun 'plants', so it distorts the meaning

the same … that，感觉E是对的
B和C还有不好的就是把so that这种不是修饰的明显是短句放在一个短语引起的短句内，这个好像很不妥，记得OG好像有这样的例子
还有原句是用的using，如果换到句子里，就是using technology used to.就能明显看出C是重复
