但是much是不能修饰可数名词的呀！
是不是我理解错了

I suppose "however much" emphasizes "agree" not "states"

Agree! 我想这里是表示程度的修饰agree，much当作程度副词用。

在英语中在很多情况下however much= very much 是修饰动词的，由于very much 只能放在句尾而不能放在句首为加强语气，所以把however much放在句首。

如果however much解释为"多么"来修饰agree, A就和E有同样的错误：即，变成了用逗号分割的两个独立的句子。这应该是不允许的。

求教：我如何才能分辨much是用于修饰谁的，若修饰voters也没什么不妥啊？如何知道这里是在跳跃修饰呢？？
