vote for A : there is nothing wrong in A ; until recently可以用过去式也可以用完成时

D：Up until recently错；而且shelter是因纽特人一直存在的生活方式，并没有终止，也不是由以前另一种生活方式转变而来的所以用完成时不符合逻辑意思。

E: Until recent times也错，而且were sheltered是被动的，搞错了！

弱弱的问一句: up until recently是带有终止的意思吗?能否给个例句?

我觉得完成时表达的是时间迄今为止，不一定强调动作终止吧，而是持续到现在啊

如果要表示客观现实也应该是用一般现在而非一般将来阿~！！

D 哪里错了？？

感觉D把句子中心给变了，原句sheltering...是led a nomadic existence的伴随动作说明。D把led a nomadic existence变成了Inuit people 的修饰语
