我选B, 想请问这里both的用法，答案D中去掉了both? 而且Jazz pianist and composer Thelonious Monk在composer和人名之间不需要用逗号隔开吗?

搜寻过但是没找到TTGWD22-2的讨论

我个人觉得此处：

如果用BOTH应该用在rooted之后而不是之前，但是如果用在rooted之后，后面应该加上both in the ..Smith and in the.Duke，所以A,B,E错误。C谓语错误。

正确的答案是D,没有用BOTH但意思已经表达出来。

那应该是rooted both in the stride-piano tradition of Willie (The Lion) Smith and in those ofDuke Ellington

准确一点，BOTH最应该放在第一个人名前面

而且Jazz pianist and composer Thelonious Monk在composer和人名之间不需要用逗号隔开吗?

这个可能是可以理解成同位语吧

both是错的，结果E选项，太坏了，他把both分成两半，令偶们大家都没看出来
