标题: 数学题中n是已知还是未知？

If the total price of n equally priced shares of a certain stock was $12,000. What was the price per share of the stock?

1. If the price per share of the stock had been $1 more, the total price of the n shares would have been $3,000 more.

2. If the price share of the stock had been $2 less, the total price of the n shares would have been 5 percent less.

这道题目，在PP3里面遇到的，答案是D，我不明白它怎么把n当成已知的了。请NN解答。

这里没有把n作为已知，题目求得就是每股价格，求出n的值，用12000除以就得到了。

（1）n＝3000

（2）2n＝5％×12000

所以D

我反复看了下问题发现：
1. ... of n equally priced shares of a certain stock ...算是个长难句理解
2. 1 more 是增加1（我先是以为比1大） 2 less 是减少2 （我先以为是比2小）
