Every major in PhD program at business school demands Math. OBHR might be an exception. In virtually every PhD management program, no matter for what major, Micro is an must-done. If you are not comfortable dealing with math, not simply calculus operation have to say, you would suffer. And, most of the students are required to take Game Theory. If it is instructed at a pure theoretical way, knowing how to prove like a mathmatician is requirement.

International business might be set under Economics, and Math is even more demanded in Econ.

Don't try to swing. There is absolutely no short cut to release yourself. If you are indeed interested at something, go for it, and only hard work can pay you off.

haha

The word "maybe" refers to the tracks you mentioned.

I think OB and marketing require very little statistical skills, especially for behavioral track, compared with other disciplines in Business Faculty. Of course, it depends on the university. Try to choose a university fitted with the ability is important.

hehe, I am not afraid of hard work. but My prof. warned me that hard work may not be enough and many students are forced to quit.

And I cannot find specific I/B concentration in most b-school website. sometimes under econ, sometimes under strategy mgt. I should refer to individual faculty. is there any other way to do it sufficently? any suggestions?

thanks.
