答案选C,我选A,C我可以接受，但是A有什么错呢？是不是for making比to make 来得好啊

A.后面看上去是 scientists hope measurements, and measurements will enable them to understand....

句意不对了吧

但我觉得A的定语从句将前后意思连接起来了说明发射spacecraft对科学家理解太阳系形成的帮助作用to make ever more precise measurements that scientists hope will enable them to，可把scientists hope作为插入语理解，C似乎没有这种衔接的意思，望指教

我觉的A好，

C的they指代模糊，且To make 比 for making好

首先我觉得to make 比for making好，to make表目的，for making表用途，但是不太影响
第二，A中to make ever more precise measurements that scientists hope will enable them to，that引导的不是定语从句，而是同位语从句，但是 that scientists hope will enable them to做measurements的同位语很ridiculous
所以还是C好，they指代很清楚，就近指代scientists

注意scientists hope是插入语，晕，我就是没看出来才选了C．
