GSB at U of Chicago, Stern at NYU, Wharton at Upenn. depends on your interest, GSB and Stern have a lot of time series guys, such as Tsay, student of George Tiao.But I do not think time series is still very promising. Faculty at wharton do nonparametric function estimation and bayesian more,such as Lawrence Brown.

很多名牌老校都有统计系，个人觉得还是挺有用的，只是纯统计理论研究太枯燥了......

sure, for statistics major, stanford and berkeley are definitely the best. Harvard is also very good in biostatistics. I think orchid430 wants to ask the statistics phd program in business school. Then I think u of chicago is the best, my friend told me if you can be admitted into the program and do some research with Tsay, you can go anywhere, IB or academic, and chicago also has a statistics department in art and science, it is also top.

I'm applying to Ph.D in Decision Science, closely related to statistics. Do you have any suggestion or comments?

看起来本版（或者商学院）统计相关人士不太多阿，但统计的确非常有用，尤其是美国有些统计专业设置的非常实用，可惜可惜

同意统计非常有用
不过对大多数人而言统计只是工具，类似数学，想专门做统计研究的人可能不多
