我支持d。 different from 和 difference in 的搭配用法 并不适合此题的判断。
句子结构是 there is sth.. sth的修饰语.. in ...
这里的in 实际是 there is sth in sth。 跟difference 无关。
我发那题答案是D,sure.官方答案。核对了好几遍。
我的理解：
D。 that there is little that is significantly different
1。that is significantly different做修饰语修饰little, 如果运用意群阅读法，that is significantly different当作一个意群，到此为止；
2。后面的in。。。修饰that there is little ，也即修饰generalization，表示“在哪方面”；
综合1&2, in 确实与different无关。
所以做语法，重在句子结构，所谓的搭配都是为结构服务的，不要迷信搭配，容易产生迷惑。当然，有些搭配本身就提供unique的句子结构，则另当别论。
本题E. that there is little of significant differences
E中如果differences改为difference是否正确？
——感觉说的过去，顺口，不知各位高见？

另外，Findjuhl整理的这道GMATPrep题中，E选项：that there is little that is significant differences 似乎也有问题：
that there is little that is significant differences中——is和differences是否一致？
无论differences用于连接哪个is（这结构中出现两个is），都有这个问题。
即使这道题，D选项也不能彻底排除，确实需要斟酌一番。

是d啦。8楼已说d是官方答案了。
ETS给出的答案是D，我选的也是E，错了，所以才有此问。E 在 GMAT 里肯定不合适。

在D中，little是名詞，用significantly different 修飾。這種用法好比以下句子的用法:
There is little (that) I can do for you.(我能為你做的，少之又少)
E中，不單是significant differences的單複數問題，little 究竟要當名詞還是形容詞?若是名詞，句子就很不好，若是形容詞，直接說 there is little significant difference，更何況，little修是不可數名詞，但difference是可數，也不對。
