大全490，Like their male counterparts, women scientists are above average in terms of intelligence and creativity, but unlike men of science, their female counterparts have had to work against the grain of occupational stereotyping to enter a “man’s world.”

(B) their problem is working
(C) one thing they have had to do is work
(D) the handicap women of science have had is to work
(E) women of science have had to work

为什么，Like their male counterparts, women scientists 可以；而unlike men of science, their female counterparts 就不可以呢？

请哪位牛牛帮忙解答一下，谢谢！

因为整个句子都是在讲women scientists的情况，but引导的句子也是在讲女科学家的情况。但是因为要和men of science对称，所以用women of science。

如果用their female counterparts，这个their就指代不清了，unlike men of science后面总要有个明确主语来表示是 *** unlike men of science，这里***就是women of scienc。

嗯，同一句話裏的their只能指代一個對象，而前面已經出現過一次their樂。
