R.H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland will hold its first time ever information session in China. Details as follow:

Smith Information Session

Tuesday, November 14: 6:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m.
A401-A410 Tomorrow Square
399 West Nanjing Road
Shanghai 200003 China

Smith School will also participate MBA Fairs in Beijing and Shanghai. Welcome as well!

why no information session in beijing

在北京没有session...因此只好去上海参加了。在中国的第一次session哦，要支持一下~~~~~~~~~~~

The reason Smith School only have info session in Shanghai is the session venue is school's own office in Shanghai. That saves cost.

I attended this session. A very nice lady, Sabrina, held the whole session. But it was pity that not many people knew it and attended. Anyway, Sabrina seemed to have a good mood.

I've submit my application for the first round waiting for the interview.

leobear, do you have any idea about the tele-interview?

I didnot attend that session. It seems that not so many people apply smith.

Yes, not so many people there, about 9 people, among them 8 girls.

And how is the placement of UMD this year ?

从其他的帖子看到,smith最高的奖学金好像就是第一年$36,000,第二年需要自己付$20,000的in state tuition, 但是第二年做GA给living expenses.这样的话自己是不是还要负担$30,000左右的费用?

Jan 15是第三轮的deadline吗?对国际学生来讲是不是很不利了?financial aid是不是也给的差不多了,也没剩多少了?
