问：请问如何修改？另外此题中during是介词，后边怎么能跟句子？

问：under cultivation是句子中地什么成分？另外什么时候用by，什么时候用in？

3。 Some areas of the deep sea are vulnerable frequent

mud slumps, low oxygen, and upwellings.
答案为A
问：如何修改？

4。The layers of an elephant's tusk are
deposited from the pulp, yet that the
innermost layer is the newest.
问，yet错误，如何修改。

when-----which. 这是一个定语从句,先行词是the Second World War, during 是一个prep,所以后面用which, 这里其实during which= when.

问：under cultivation是句子中地什么成分？另外什么时候用by，什么时候用in？

under cultivation在这里是prep 短语作后置定语修饰the area. 主句用的是过去完成时,所以这里要用by,表示"在...之前" ; in 表示一个时间点,一般用过去时.

再问，关于第3题，vulnerable 和frequent都是adj，怎么存在先后地问题。

adj的顺序一般是关系越紧密的靠n越近. 比如说 a little pretty girl 这里pretty比little的关系要近,所以放在靠近n 一点.同样,vulnerable 和pretty一样都是直接形容n的character的,frequent和little一样是泛泛的形容所以放在前面.

不知道这样解释清楚没有.有时候放位置的时候凭的是语感吧,看多了就习惯这样说了.

我觉得第三题应该是frequently vunerable.形容词是不可以修饰形容词的,只有副词才可以。

仔细看了一下原句,发现是有问题,因为主语area不能和宾语disturbance搭配,所以原句不应该是个判断句.应该是少了一个prep. 是指"容易受到震动" workman是对的

yet改成and.

我认为yet 应改为in， "in that"－所以，这样在逻辑上更通写。如果用and，那它后面的that作何解释？可以说是多余成分。
