885 sec e 22
22.    Cardiopulmonary resuscitation should begin between one to four minutes after a cardiac arrest in order to be a success.
(A) Cardiopulmonary resuscitation should begin between one to four minutes after a cardiac arrest in order to be a success.
(B) Between one and four minutes after a cardiac arrest, cardiopulmonary resuscitation should begin to be successful.
(C) Successful cardiopulmonary resuscitation should be begun from one to four minutes after a cardiac arrest occurs.
(D) If it is to be successful, a cardiac arrest should be treated with cardiopulmonary resuscitation one to four minutes afterward.
(E) To be successful, cardiopulmonary resuscitation should begin within one to four minutes after a cardiac arrest.

E.
A between...to
B should begin to be successful
C should be begun
D should be treated/one to four minutes afterward

norm1 :"in order to" is less perfect than to.
2.active voice is desirable, and passive voice twisted the original meaning.
3,the effect of "between .....and" is less than that of "within 1 to four minutes".
so only E is approximate  one.

A: between....to...; in order to 没有to 简洁;  而且in order to be a success 有直接修饰cardiac arrest之嫌,这一目的状语宜提前。

B: between ...and ...不如one to four...

D: it 在句中指代 a cardiac arrest,句意成为a cardiac arrest is to be successful。

201 Cardiopulmonary resuscitation should begin between one to four minutes after a cardiac arrest in order to be a success.[目的状语修饰全局,有直接修饰cardiac arrest的歧义]

(A) Cardiopulmonary resuscitation should begin between one to four minutes after a cardiac arrest in order to be a success.[错误使用between …to搭配]

(B) Between one and four minutes after a cardiac arrest, cardiopulmonary resuscitation should begin to be successful.[不符合使用习惯,between。。。

(C) Successful cardiopulmonary resuscitation should be begun from one to four minutes after a cardiac arrest occurs.[should +be+done ]==〉没有看出C选项怎么破坏原文句子重心,那位能指点一下啊?

(D) If it is to be successful, a cardiac arrest should be treated with cardiopulmonary resuscitation one to four minutes afterward.[句首的条件从句罗嗦,]E

(E) To be successful, cardiopulmonary resuscitation should begin within one to four minutes after a cardiac arrest.

后面的should begin to be successful, 可直接改成should begin successful?C项说,should be begun错,这是范了什么错误呢?

shouls begin to be successful

想想 begin within 4 mins to be successful 和begin to be successful侧重点是不一样的  前者强调再一定时间短里开始才成功,后者说开始就成功,不够准确。

我也想问 should be done有问题?  I should be killed. U should be awarded

2. start happening[intransitive and transitive]  if something begins, or you begin something, it starts to happen or exist from a particular time:
It was the coldest winter since records began.
begin at
The meeting begins at 10.30 am.
