标题: 请教10月考到的AA135提纲,我只想到2个攻击点

135. The following appeared in a memorandum from the business planning department of Avia Airlines.

“Of all the cities in their region, Beaumont and Fletcher are showing the fastest growth in the number of new businesses. Therefore, Avia should establish a commuter route between them as a means of countering recent losses on its main passenger routes. And to make the commuter route more profitable from the outset, Avia should offer a 1/3 discount on tickets purchased within two days of the flight. Unlike tickets bought earlier, discount tickets will be nonrefundable, and so gain from their sale will be greater.”

 

我只想到的2个攻击点是:

1.  Gratuitous Assumption: Beaumont Fletcher业务增长快,就一定需要建立新的往来航线么?也许早就有很多航线,供大于求了。

2.  One-sidedness: 1/3 discount的机票就可以增加销售么?也许正因为折价机票不能退换,所以很多商务用户反而不愿冒险买折价机票;而且其他航空公司也可以降价。

 

请各位指点一下,还有什么7宗罪当中的逻辑错误?

2.Beaumont Fletcher业务增长快,不一定需要飞机往来完成业务,可能通过网络,电话,邮件就可以解决了.

3.1/3 discount的票子:一般在起飞两天之前定下来要买票的,都不会退票,所以没有必要给予折扣.折扣了反而收益少了.

第一, 没有调查recent losses on its main passenger routes 的真正原因.

第二, B and F 的发展快,并不表示有commuter route 的需求, 应该未必能counter the losses.

And to make the commuter route more profitable from the outset, Avia should offer 1/3 discount on tickets purchased within two days of the flight.

第三 offer 1/3 discount 就可以profitable 了. 说不定都不到保本线. 应该拿出具体的成本-利润表.

1、无因果(新企业数量增加&需要通勤航线)
2、没考虑损失原因,没法针对性解决
3、profit(折扣)
