标题: [讨论]marketing research methods

what kinds of research methods in marketing appear to be the most popular in some professional research investigation? such as surveys, interviews, statistics, ethnography,database.,ecperiments ,archives....

I am a little confused about the distinction between database and statistics....

而且我觉得这个应该分情况吧,在研究消费者行为时候什么方式比较受欢迎,在研究品牌的时候什么方式受欢迎....不知道想的对不对, 还没有找到相关的JOURNAL....大家来讨论讨论下吧,谢谢因为这学期刚学习研究方法这门课,所以了解不多,想听听大家的看法

you can find Journal of Consumer Research, a top tier journal of marketing. European Journal of Marketing is also a good one. Experiment and survey are the most popular method for data collection. Regression, ANOVA, structural equation modeling are the most popular statistical methods for data analysis.

我在想要写一篇关于研究方法的论文,不是要去收集各个领域的文章,来证明哪个更流行?

题目本身就有问题,没有说在MARKETIGN领域里最流行的吧? 应该是在MARKETGIN 各个细分的领域比较受欢迎的方法才对吗?

Try to ask a small but important question based on the research gap in the past. Your research question shows that you are immature at doing research.

我准备把题目缩小到CONSUMER BEHAVIOR RESEARCH里面,不过发现书上很都写的都是专业公司,象AC尼儿森什么的,喜欢用PANEL ,但是学术研究就不一定了,那学术界的研究喜欢什么方法呢? 都没有看到定论呢? 是不是要去搜集相关的JOURNAL,然后自己做个统计呢?
